Are employees required to wear gloves?

Everyone working in a Dunkin' restaurant must avoid bare hand contact with food and food prep surfaces by using single-use gloves, waxed tissue, or utensils. Gloves must be changed frequently while performing these tasks and anytime a guest asks a team member to do so.

For team members who are moving between tasks, we require thorough hand washing and using waxed tissue, proper serving utensils, and proper glove usage.

Why can’t I sit in a restaurant location?

As part of Dunkin's ongoing efforts to help protect customers and restaurant employees in light of the COVID-19 health crisis, all U.S. Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins restaurants, as of March 17, 2020, were limiting service to drive-thru ordering, carry-out, and delivery only.

We are committed to the health and safety of our guests, franchisees, employees, and communities we serve and are now working with our franchisees as they decide when to reopen dining rooms for guests that choose to enjoy their products on-site.

Why aren’t you closing your restaurant locations?

We are continuing our legacy of being there when people need us most by taking additional steps to be a safe and welcoming environment. We are grateful for the dedication of our franchisees and their team members, who make our brand stand tall every day. Our franchisees have the flexibility to go to drive-thru only, delivery and/or carry out only, limit their hours, or in some cases temporarily close their restaurants depending on the needs of the communities they serve. Dunkin' restaurants are independently owned and operated by individual franchisees who are responsible for making their own business decisions and are required to comply with all state, federal, and local laws.

Why can’t I use my refill mug?

Dunkin' takes its job of keeping people running seriously. While we offer a refillable cup program as an option at participating restaurants nationwide, we believe it is right to take safety precautions. Therefore, Dunkin’ has temporarily halted the refilling of reusable mugs, in light of the public health concerns related to the coronavirus.

Will restaurant employees wear masks?

In light of recent guidance from the CDC, Dunkin’ is allowing guests and team members who are fully vaccinated to not wear face coverings while inside Dunkin’ restaurants, if allowed by the franchise owner and applicable state and local laws in their jurisdictions. Those who are not fully vaccinated are still expected to wear face coverings.

How do you know your restaurant employees don’t have coronavirus?

Franchisees may not permit their restaurant employees to work when ill, including when COVID-19 is suspected. We recommend to our franchisees that they perform daily health screenings, including temperature checks, of their employees. Dunkin's food safety program includes strict standards. Franchisees must have their employees notify their manager and not work if infected with any reportable illnesses or showing symptoms including runny nose, fever, persistent coughing and sneezing, sore throat with fever, and many others associated with other foodborne illnesses.

Will there be hand sanitizer available at your restaurants?

It is strongly recommended that all franchisees offer hand sanitizer for guest use within the lobby and other areas of their restaurants, and they must do so if required by state or local law.

Can I get Cold Brew or Frozen Coffee in Decaf?

Unfortunately, our Cold Brew and Frozen Coffee are not available in Decaf.

Should I store my coffee in the refrigerator or freezer?

We do not recommend keeping our coffee in the refrigerator or freezer. Coffee is similar to baking soda in the way it can absorb moisture and aromas. It is also best if coffee is not exposed to light. We suggest you store your Dunkin' coffee in an airtight, opaque container in a cool, dark place to maintain optimum flavor and freshness.

Dunkin' does not accept unsolicited requests for corporate sponsorships or donations, including product donations. Dunkin’ supports a targeted group of non-profit organizations within three focus areas: hunger relief, safety, and children’s health. We believe we can make the greatest impact in our communities by focusing our resources on these organizations. Thank you for thinking of Dunkin' and for working to support our communities.

Do local Dunkin' stores provide sponsorships or donations?

If you are seeking sponsorship or a donation from your local Dunkin', it is best to speak directly with the owner. We suggest providing franchise owners at least 3 weeks’ notice. Please keep in mind, due to the volume of requests our local franchise owners receive, they cannot honor all requests.

How can I apply to work at a Dunkin’?

Is there a fee to join DD Perks?

Of course not! It won’t even cost you much time. Simply create an account online or on the Dunkin’ app and register any Dunkin' Card. Then, you’ll be ready to earn rewards.

Do I need to register a Dunkin' Card in DD Perks?

Nope! While you have the option to register a physical or virtual card during enrollment to earn points, you can also earn points by mobile ordering or by scanning your Loyalty ID and paying with cash, credit, or debit.

I do not have an email address. Can I join DD Perks without using one?

An email address is required to join DD Perks. It helps us keep you accurately informed about your account and rewards.

Can I join DD Perks without using my phone number?

A phone number is required to join DD Perks. Providing a phone number helps us keep your account secure!

Is my personal information secure?

We go to great lengths to ensure the security of your personal information. Please refer to our privacy policy for all the details on how we use your data.

Why I haven't received a security code?

  • If you are attempting to sign in to your account and have not received a 6-digit security code to your mobile device, there may be an issue with either the phone number on the account or your service provider. If you have recently changed your phone number, please tap "I have a new phone number" at the bottom of the “Send Code” page. An email will be sent to the email address connected to your account. You will be asked to update your information, and a new verification code will be sent to the new number.
  • If you have not recently changed your phone number, please call our support team at (800) 447-0013, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. to confirm your account settings and to receive a one-time sign in code to access your account.

How can I earn points and rewards?

You can earn points and rewards by using by scanning your Loyalty ID or by placing a mobile order through your DD Perks account. Please note that using the Guest Checkout option does not collect points or rewards.

How will I receive my free beverage Reward Coupon?

There are a few ways to access your coupon. All free beverage Reward Coupons will be available in the Dunkin’ app in the Offers tab as well as at DunkinDonuts.com when you sign in to your account. It will also be emailed to you as a reminder 7-days from its expiration date. 

How will I receive my free birthday beverage?

A few days before your birthday, your birthday beverage coupon will be available in your DD Perks account in the Offers tab. If you haven’t provided your birthday yet, you can sign in to your account and head to “Manage Profile” to add it.

Reward coupons are one-time use, regardless of the channel used for redemption. DD Perks points will reset to 0 (-200) when a free beverage Reward Coupon is earned.

Do my points and Reward Coupons expire?

Yes. Point balances of less than 200 points will expire in one year if you do not make a qualifying purchase in that time. Free beverage Reward Coupons expire 30 days from the time they are issued, and Birthday Free beverage Reward Coupons expire 7 days from the time they are issued.

Can I earn DD Perks points at any Dunkin’ location and on all Dunkin’ purchases?

DD Perks points are only earned by making qualified purchases at participating Dunkin’ locations. For a complete list of participating restaurants, please use our restaurant locator.

Sales tax and returned merchandise will be deducted from the purchase price of qualifying purchases for purposes of calculating DD Perks points.

Some examples of unqualified purchases:

  • Purchase/reload of Dunkin' Cards or gift certificates
  • Redemption of DD Perks Reward Coupons
  • Donations to charity
  • Purchase of newspapers
  • Product purchases through the Dunkin’ online shop
  • Purchase of Baskin-Robbins® products sold in Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins multi-brand locations

What if I forget my Dunkin' Card and pay with cash or credit?

That’s ok! The DD Perks program is now a multi-tender program, meaning you can pay any way you choose and still earn points. All you have to do is scan your Loyalty ID found in the Dunkin’ app at checkout, and you can pay by cash, credit, or debit.  

Can I register my Baskin-Robbins gift card to my DD Perks account and earn points on purchases?

At this time, Baskin-Robbins gift cards cannot be registered to DD Perks accounts. Baskin-Robbins products sold in Dunkin’/Baskin-Robbins multi-brand locations are not considered Qualified Purchases.

How can I apply a discount to my order?

  • Visit the Offers tab in the Dunkin’ App to explore available offers or apply a qualifying reward. To apply a reward, tap ‘Apply to Order’ at the bottom of the screen. Reward coupons can be applied to your mobile order before or during checkout. Simply select a qualifying product, then expand the ‘Available Discounts’ tab on the Checkout page to view available offers.
  • If you have a promo code, visit the Offers tab in the Dunkin’ App, and scroll to the bottom of the screen. There will be a section to ‘Add a Promo Code’ to your order.
  • Physical coupons and local discounts, including senior discounts, vary by location and can only be applied during in-restaurant orders. Please check with your local Dunkin’ to see if they offer any local discounts.

What are "member-only" offers and how do I get them?

Throughout the year, there may be opportunities for DD Perks members to earn additional perks or redeem special offers. We will notify you by email and in the Dunkin’ app about new ways to earn points.

Can I redeem my mobile offers online at DunkinDonuts.com?

Mobile offers are only accessible in the Dunkin’ app in the DD Perks Offers tab.

How do I get a Dunkin' Card?

You can purchase Dunkin' Cards at any participating Dunkin’ location; by enrolling in DD Perks; or in the Dunkin’ app. You can also purchase a Dunkin' Card through your existing account if you have a Dunkin’ Account or DD Perks account.

Note: Dunkin' Cards purchased in the Dunkin’ app are virtual cards and usable only from within the Dunkin’ App. You will not receive a physical card.

Can I purchase and/or reload a Dunkin' Card with another Dunkin' Card?

No. Dunkin' Cards can be only be purchased and/or reloaded using cash, credit card, or debit card.

Are there any fees associated with my Dunkin' Card?

Never! Dunkin' Cards are free to use and you will never be charged a service fee for having a balance.

Do I need to register my Dunkin' Card in order to use it?

You do not need to register your Dunkin' Card to use it. However, we encourage you to register your Dunkin' Card to earn points and to protect your balance in case your card is lost.

Where do I find the 16-digit card number and PIN?

Your 16-digit card number and PIN is located on the back of your physical Dunkin' Cards. Your PIN may be covered by a scratch-off sticker.

Why does the back of my Dunkin' Card have a scratch-off sticker with a number beneath it?

The number beneath the scratch-off sticker is your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or ID Number (ID). You will need this PIN/ID# to check your balance and transaction history, register your card, reload your card, and set up auto-reload on your card at DunkinDonuts.com. If your card does not have a PIN/ID# on the back, please contact the Loyalty Support Team at 1-800-447-0013.

How do I check my Dunkin' Card balance?

  • You can check your Dunkin’ Card balance on the DunkinDonuts.com website using your Card # and PIN.
  • You can also check your Dunkin’ Card balance by calling (800) 447-0013 and selecting Option 2.
  • If you are a rewards member, you can check the balance of any registered Dunkin’ Cards by signing in to your account in the Dunkin’ app or on DunkinDonuts.com. If using the app, sign in and select ‘Add/Manage Cards’ from the main menu. If using the website, sign in and select ‘Check Balance and Funds’ from the menu in the top right-hand corner.

My balance doesn’t seem to reflect what my receipt says. How can I confirm my current balance?

If your card balance does not update immediately after a transaction, you can manually refresh it. We recommend that you refresh your balance regularly.

On the Dunkin' app, go to the “Add/Manage Cards” tab. Select a card, and tap the refresh button (the pink arrow in a circle) next to your card balance to refersh it.

On DunkinDonuts.com, go to the “Check Balance & Funds” tab. Under your card balance, click the refresh button (the pink box with two arrows in a circle).

I have cards with $0.00 balances. Is there a way to delete my old cards?

You can no longer remove gift cards from your account on DunkinDonuts.com. You can, however, remove gift cards with $0.00 balances from the Dunkin' app. On the Dunkin' app, go to the "Add/Manage Cards" tab. Select a card and then tap "Delete".

Is there a way to combine all my cards to my primary card?

Yes! You can now merge gift card balances through the Dunkin' App and DunkinDonuts.com. If you have more than one card on your account, please follow the steps below to merge the balances onto one card:

Mobile App:

  1. Navigate to "Add/Manage Cards.”
  2. Scroll to “My Additional Cards,” and select the card you want to merge to your primary balance.
  3. Tap “Merge Balance to Primary” and tap “Confirm.”

DunkinDonuts.com:

  1. Navigate to the "Transfer Funds" screen.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu below “Transfer to” to select the card to which you want the funds transferred.
  3. Under “Transfer From,” select the card from which you would like the balance transferred.
  4. Click "Review,” then click “Confirm” to complete the transfer.

Please Note: Once your card is successfully merged, a confirmation will appear on the screen. Any cards that you merge "from" will be unregistered and removed from your account.

Where can I view my order history?

If you are registered in our DD Perks program, you can view your order history in the Dunkin’ App or on our website under transaction history.

Can I receive cash back for the remaining balance on my card?

Dunkin' Card balances cannot be redeemed for cash, check or credit—unless required by law.

Once I set up Auto-Reload for my Dunkin' Card, when should I expect the reload to occur?

If you set up a “By Schedule” Auto-Reload, the transaction will usually occur by 12:00 PM ET on the day you set up Auto- Reload. If you set up a “By Balance” Auto-Reload, the transaction will usually occur by 12:00 PM ET on the day after your balance falls below your set minimum.

Why can't I reload my Dunkin' Card?

If you are having trouble reloading your Dunkin’ Card, please delete and re-upload the credit or debit card on your account, ensuring that all the information matches what your bank has on file (including name, number, and address). If you continue to receive an error, please note the error number and give us a call at (800) 447-0013, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

What are your accepted forms of payment?

DunkinDonuts.com currently accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Is it really safe to use my credit card to order from Dunkin'?

Yes. We use a sophisticated software program (Secure Socket Layer Technology or SSL) that encrypts all information before it's sent to us. If anyone does intercept data, they won't be able to read or use it. In addition, all payment info is stored within your account—never on your device.

Can I store multiple forms of payment to purchase or reload my Dunkin' cards?

Of course! You can manage your cards within your account on DunkinDonuts.com or in the Dunkin’ app. Note: logging in to the app with your Dunkin' account will sync the two.

How do I update my credit card information?

To edit the credit card information on your account, please follow the instructions below:

Mobile App:

  1. Navigate to "My Account" and select "Payment Details."
  2. To add a new credit card, select "Add Credit/Debit Card."
  3. To edit or delete an existing card, select that card and make any changes on the following screen.

DunkinDonuts.com

  1. Navigate to "Manage Profile" and select "Payment Methods."
  2. Click edit or delete to either modify or remove a card from your account.
  3. To add a new credit card, navigate to "Check Balance & Add Value" screen and click "Add Credit Card."

What if my Card is lost?

Email us and we’ll freeze your balance, transfer it, and mail it your way. If your card is not registered, you must treat your card like cash. We cannot replace it if it is lost or stolen.
