Rules for Contests on Social Networks

First thing you have to know is that our www.DunkinDonuts.com Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply, except for any changes below. Know them. Live them. And check back here often as we may change these rules at any time.

The next thing is don't get too excited. What we are planning to give away (probably) won't make you rich, better looking, or famous.

No purchase necessary! If it isn't obvious, you don't have to buy anything to participate, play, or win. Any applicable taxes are on your nickel.

If we post a "Tweet" on Twitter or message of the day, week, etc., or tell you we are going to pick our "fav" response to something, we get to pick the one we like. Period. Same applies when we say we are going to pick more than one.  If we don’t like any of the responses we receive, we may not pick any so be sure to submit your best response.  We know you want us to give away the prize.

If we don’t receive your response by the deadline we posted, it’s not our problem.

If we offer something for the first number of "Tweets" on Twitter or responses, we count based on when we received them. It's not our fault if computers or ISPs mess up, lose power, the dog eats your "Tweet", the dog eats our connection, the dog eats your computer, the dog eats you, etc., etc. If we want, we can allow more time, or cut short the time for responses.  We can also cancel or change a promotion whenever we want.

Same deal if we ask for votes.

Don’t use automated programs or bots to send responses or generate votes.  Don’t offer to purchase or trade votes either.  Both are uncool and will make us block you from participating.  We’d hate to have to do that.

We also reserve the right to exclude a participant from contention if we deem your username, profile information, your responses or your "Tweets" on Twitter, in general, to be offensive.

By playing, you give us permission to use your name and profile information to announce as a winner. If you want to know who won, visit the applicable site, but check quickly, as names won't be posted for long (about 2 days).

What you send us becomes our property and we can use it however we want.

Should you be lucky enough to win one of these contests, we will need to get some information from you in order to get you the prize that you won. If you don't give us enough information to contact you, we will move on.

The odds of you winning a prize depend on how many other people are cool enough to enter our contest.

Please don't play if you don’t live in the U.S. and you aren’t at least 13-years-old. Mom, Dad, or guardian will have to sign an affidavit for you if you are younger than 18.

Our employees, franchisees, vendors, and competitors can't win (our) prizes. If we ask, you have to timely confirm your eligibility.

Even though it’s probably obvious, we have to tell you that Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. is the sponsor of the contest.
